Warehouse Operative/Picker – Night Shift
TRC Group is recruiting for multiple warehouse operatives in the Goldthorpe, S63 area. This is on behalf of one of our market-leading clients within the supermarket industry, that are rapidly expanding year on year! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a good, reliable work ethic, that is wanting to grow their skillset and get settled into a new company!
Weekly walkarounds and immediate start dates!
Pay Rate: £11.48 Per Hour standard, £13.78 between the hours of 10pm-4am + on-site parking + Free fruit and veg on site
Job Type: Temp to perm
Hours: Standard hours are either 5pm, 8pm or 9pm start (set shift), working until the finish (usually between 7-9 hours long), on a monthly rota working any 5 over 7.
If these hours aren’t quite right for you, please do still apply as there is some flexibility with shifts and start times. Whether you are looking to work full time, 5 days a week, or part-time we can be flexible to fit your needs!
The Role:
- This will involve working in either a chiller, between 2 and 5 degrees so must be comfortable in chilled temperatures or working in an ambient or produce department.
- Ensure the workplace is kept clean and tidy and ensure all spillages/breakages are cleared immediately.
- Achieving picking KPIs.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Make sure products are secured, marked up correctly, and in the correct area for dispatch.
- Very physically demanding.
- Voice picking using a headset.
- Driving/operating a LLOP (low level order picker) – full training will be provided
The Candidate:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
- Living locally or having own means of transport is preferable.
- Self-starter attitude
- Reliability
- Able to work on own initiative
